Change

Things change. Always. From the very blueprint of nature to things like relationships…it’s in the ebb and flow of the ocean to the constant shift of the skies…CHANGE.

It’s not only part of life….It is life.

I like to think I’m pretty good with rhythmic change. In fact, in most times, I thrive in it. I love each season more than the last and appreciate the slow shifts. It’s the monotonous standstill with stagnant air that suffocates my lungs.

But, when life shifts so suddenly from beneath your feet that you are left standing in a place that not only do you not know…but has left you unrecognizable as well…then, what?

From stay at home homeschool and foster mama with a farm and businesses that centered around my farm …to… not.

So, here we are. The dust is finally settling after a few wrecking balls took their rotating swings. The beams fallen and shards of glass in disarray. And, as you stand front and center, you look around and realize the entire infrastructure is gone. Starting over will be necessary…but, what will the rebuilding look like? Do you want the same blueprints? Do you dare to dream again? Do you dare to dream new dreams?

The answer is yes.

YES.

I’m finally to the point in life where I feel like I’m no longer just escaping sharks and treading water. Now, it’s time climb out, and build a new dream…a new…me?!
